From legendary French adventure film director Thierry Donard, Human X showcases athletes who push the boundaries of fear and danger, navigating the challenges of nature and a changing climate – celebrates themes of self-transcendence, transmission, and harmony with nature, and proves that the extraordinary is within reach for those who dare to dream and act. From the snow-capped Alps to the waves of Western Australia and Tahiti, the film immerses viewers in breathtaking landscapes and heart-pounding action.

Starring 2024 female surfer of the year surfer and local legend Laura Enever, HUMAN X documents her fearless surfing in the legendary Tahitian spot of Teahupoo, where giant waves become the stage for a dance between life and risk, and also as she challenges the titanic waves of Shipsterns Bluff in Tasmania.

Featuring the slab surfing of brothers Kerby and Cortney Brown, young snowboarder Zian Perrot-Couttet who achieves a mystical solo ascent of the Aiguille Verte, illustrating the personal quest of surpassing oneself. Swiss speedriders Ueli Kestenholz and Dominik Wicki, accompanied by Savoyards Valentin Delluc and Ugo Gerola,face the dizzying slopes of the Valais Alps – a Dream Team of four speedriders among the best in the world.

The film concludes in Chamonix, the temple of mountaineering world, with legendary trio of Chamoniards Sam Favret, Zian Perrot-Couttet & Gaspard Ravanel who, with the help of their paragliders, renew the exploration of the great classic; the Mont-Blanc Massif. These athletes remind us how much humans like to push their limits to further their boundaries. We call these humans: Human X.
